Australian VisitorsWith two Australian friends visiting, we chose Cher Cher to showcase some of the best Thai food Rayong has to offer. This smart up-market Thai restaurant''s menu features many of the traditional dishes from Esan, the north eastern provinces of Thailand with its own distinctive cuisine. We had crispy fried noodles with prawns, crispy pork belly, deep fried chicken wings, stir fried mixed vegetables in oyster sauce, and a Thai hot pot of pork meat and pork liver with vegetables. Our waitress was particularly attentive, especially with the hot pot, a small clay pot on a charcoal brazier, and showed our Australian guests how to bring the stock to a boil before adding the meat and vegetables. The four of us had a magnificent dinner for a modest Baht 700.
